The new Tomica Search and Rescue Starter Set hits Toys R Us stores on Black Friday. A few stores already have them in stock, but it will be 40% off on Friday. This set includes a working "TRY ME" packaging where you can see the train make a full loop around the packaging. It features a 2-car motorized train with flat bed, full 18 inch track layout, two die cast cars, two Tomiheroes and two garages. Hi, so i was wondering... why did Tomica decide to switch from stickers to paint for the 2012 products?

Yeah what happened to the Hypercity Highway Pursuit, Auto Parking Tower, and Mountain Drive that all go together? This is such an awesome set and I'd be willing to buy them if they are available! The new Arctic Mining and Volcano sets are very cheap looking and not the same quality as the rest of the hypercity line. And why are there mostly characters/vehicles and not a lot of tracks/roads sets? I hope to get a response from this. I'm disappointed with the direction Tomica-usa is taking and hope you return to Tomica Japan's models and sets.
